We experience Jesus personally through the Holy Spirit. Jesus himself ascended into another realm after his earthly ministry and became truly human. He cannot physically be in both places. However, by the Spirit he can be present spiritually everywhere.
The Holy Spirit’s role is making Jesus and the mind of God present to us in real time. Our growing openness to the Spirit is how we grow in relationship, right action, and understanding the Bible as a living word.
