Triggered ()
Speaker: Shel Boese
It's common these days for younger and older generations to talk about or mock the idea of being "triggered" emotionally by something. Every one of us has things that trigger certain responses and emotions; past experiences, pains, and pleasures create patterns of reaction. Instead of being "warning lights," these unwanted emotions seem to control us. What sets them off? How do we move beyond surrendering in safe spaces or stuffing our emotions down in denial? Join us Sundays at 10 AM in September for "Triggered" Romans 7:15-20, Galatians 5:22-23, 2 Corinthians 4:4-5
