Kids Ministry Matters
Jesus said “let the children come to me” and “do not cause one of these to stumble”. Making safe spaces for our next generations to learn about Jesus and grow into authentic faith must ALWAYS be a core fabric of a healthy church.
From the moment our children enter the world they are being discipled by the cultures and kingdoms of the world, they are not born into “neutral ground,” so equipping parents and teaching children about Jesus is vital if we want a church to exist beyond us. While there is no guarantee a child or youth will choose to follow Jesus if raised in a healthy church, the chance that they will learn anything of the Gospel outside of the church is very low to non-existent.
We want to minister across our generations, including our most vulnerable to the narratives of the world, our children and young adults.
Pray for the next generation of believers and ask if and how you can engage formally and informally with them.
